This document will outline basic troubleshooting steps to help resolve issues with text message alerts. Let's cover them below.
DEVICES:
One of the fastest things to do is ensure you have not blocked 405.253.5370 on your device. This typically happens when someone goes on vacation, gets sick or moves to a different store without updating their previous profiles and then is forgotten.
iPhone
- Open Settings > Phone App. ...

- Launch FoodSafe.io and open the primary navigation circle's menu.
- Log into the app as a manager
- Open the FoodSafe.io's Configuration option
- Tap on Employees
- Tap your name and ensure your phone number is correct and ensure your cell phone number is correct and contains a leading +1 prior to your area code. IE 1.405.599.1234
- Save any changes you make.
- Now, tap App Permissions and note what role is assigned to "Receive Food Safety Alerts".
- Go back to Employees and tap your name and ensure you have the noted role assigned to your user. If you don't, add it -then save your changes.
FridgeTrak.io (cold storage monitoring)
- Log into app.Whisker.io with your username and password
- Browse to Control Panel > Account Users
- Ensure your phone number is correct and ensure your cell phone number is correct and contains a leading +1 prior to your area code. IE 1.405.599.1234
- Save any changes you make.
- Next, click on Alert Contacts and ensure your cell phone number is correct and contains a leading +1 prior to your area code. IE 1.405.599.1234
