Browsing thru Account Portal, you will see many icons that designate either a device, its status or its alert.
Let's discuss them below.
Device:
- - Whisker Smart.Hub (aka: gateway): This brains behind the operation. This device receives data from all your Whisker.Blocks
- - Great to adequate voltage indicator for the battery pack installed in Whisker.Blocks and soap dispensers.
- - Poor to bad voltage indicator for the battery pack installed in Whisker.Blocks and soap dispensers.
- - Displayed in the Device Detail's screen next to any available alert action
Signal Strength:
“Received Signal Strength Indicator" (RSSI): Displays the strength of the reporting device. The more bars, the better.
- - Extremely Good.
- - Very Good
- - Good
- - Poor
- - Very Poor: Possible intermittent communication -and in some instances corrupt or missing data might occur.
- - No Signal / Extremely Poor - Device will need to be mounted in another location to function properly.
Alert Icons and Status:
- - No Issues / Operational
- - Active Alert / Inactivity
- - Device "Actively" Snoozing
- - Visible on the Detailed Device view. Designates the selected device is actively snoozed.
- - Visible on the Detailed Device view. Designates the selected device is pending a scheduled snooze time.
- - Normal Alerts Operational
- - We're not sure what this is. We hope it's not ticking... ...we're joking. This status designates a device that has not reported anything new information in at least 50-minutes.
Alert Actions:
- Inactivity Alert
- Device has not recently reported to the Smart.Hub at scheduled check-in time.
- High Temperature Alerts (Default*)
- Freezer:
- Temp 1: Above 32°F more than (1) hour
- Temp 2: Above 45°F more than (30) minutes
- Temp 3: Above 65°F more than (10) minutes
- Fridge:
- Temp 1: Above 40°F more than (1) hour
- Temp 2: Above 55°F more than (30) minutes
- Temp 3: Above 65°F more than (10) minutes
- Freezer:
*Temperatures can be configured on a device-by-device and customer-by-customer basis.
General:
- - This is the icon for anything in our system that has a configuration page/prompt.
