Your iPad can charge slow for various reasons. Accordingly, charging can get slow in some instances. We'll discuss the processes to help speed up the charging process as well as the ability to help maximize battery life
Slow Charging:
- First ensure the iPad is charging when plugged in. The battery icon should be displayed with the lightening bolt.
- In some cases, restarting the iPad resolves slow charging.
- If you received an iPad from us, your kit might have been delivered with an inadequate power supply brick. You may purchase your own or you may let us know and we might be able to replace it. Ensure your charger is rated at least 2.1 amps/5 volts output or more.
- Inspect the power supply brick and cable for damage. Replace them if needed.
- In extreme situations, you may need to shutoff the iPad entirely to get a jump on the charging process. A larger power supply brick might be required.
- Turn the screen brightness down -but to where the device is still usable.
- Close any applications that are running in the background or that aren't being used.
- Place the iPad into sleep mode when not in use.
- Enable the Display and Brightness Auto Lock-out feature
Short Battery Life:
- Ensure your iPad is plugged into it's power supply to ensure the battery is consistently charged.
- Turn the screen brightness down -but to where the device is still usable.
- Close any applications that are running in the background or that aren't being used.
- Place the iPad into sleep mode when not in use.
- Enable the Display and Brightness Auto Lock-out feature
- Turn off background App Refresh for unneeded apps. (Be sure not to disable )FoodSafe.io Mobile")
- Turn off Airdrop
- Turn off Handoff
- Ensure you have the latest versions of the iOS and FoodSafe.io Mobile
